We understand the shoe buying experience can be intimidating and stressful, but equally as important in helping you reach your goals. Whether you are just getting started in your fitness journey, looking to alleviate the foot pain that has been sidelining you for months, or trying to set a PR, Runner's Den is committed to helping you find the perfect pair of shoes for your feet. That is why we have streamlined and simplified our fit process to make your experience as comfortable and easy as possible. Best of all, we have a 30-day fit guarantee on all our products to ensure you're getting exactly what you need.
To kick things off, we need to know a bit more about you:
What are your current activity levels? What are your fitness goals? What aches & pains are you experiencing? What have you had success with in the past? These questions and a few others will help guide us appropriately through the fitting.
Utilizing a Brannock Device & Foot Disc we are able to collect all the data we need to help us make more informed decisions in selecting the best footwear & accessories for your feet. In this step, we will determine your foot length, width, volume, arch height & arch length along with a multitude of other factors that will tell us the size and shape of shoe that will best fit your feet.
Whether you are walking or running, we need to observe a more dynamic view of your foot in motion. At this step, we are determining the level of support needed along with any biomechanical or postural adjustments that need to be made to keep your body healthy. Watching you walk or run also provides feedback to help guide decisions in cushion level or cushion type.
Finally, we are ready to outfit you in the best shoes for your body based on your personal history, goals, foot measurements and biomechanics. We encourage all our customers to walk or jog around to determine what feels most comfortable and most natural on their foot. Research has shown that once postural and gait imbalances have been accounted for, a shoe that fits most comfortably and allows your body to move most naturally will ultimately be the best for long-term health.
